Dear Low Carbon Kent Visitor,
Our thoughts are firmly with you and your networks during these troubling times. Connection and community will be crucial to help us through this period of uncertainty. Low Carbon Kent remains fully open for business, and we’re here to help to support the region with a ‘green’ economic recovery.
With this in mind, we have successfully negotiated an extension with Government to remain able to support firms with a further phase of our flagship LoCASE programme to help our SMEs with grant funding right up until late Spring 2023. What this means is that if you or other SMEs in your networks are in a position to invest in sustainable elements of their business, we are keen to see how we could support with funding to help make this a viable proposal.
We’ve also just launched an exciting initiative to find and engage with as many businesses in the green economy as possible to see how best to tailor support and prepare them (and the wider South East) to make the most of clean growth opportunities coming our way! With face-to-face meetings, workshops and events postponed until at least the summer, we’re working on ways we can continue to support you virtually during this time – watch this space over the coming weeks for information on webinars and remote delivery of support services including our STEM environmental management accreditation.
Our Inn2Power (offshore wind supply chains), BLUEPRINT and Upcycle Your Waste (both about reducing waste and using it locally as a resource) projects are also still fully operational so take a look at these pages for further details.
