Dear Low Carbon Kent Member,
Our thoughts are firmly with you and your networks during this unsettling time.
Connection and community will be crucial to help us through this period of uncertainty. Low Carbon Kent remains open for business, and we’re here for you should you need us. With this in mind, we have successfully negotiated an extension with Government to remain able to support firms with a further limited £500K pot of funding (for mainly revenue projects) until September 30th 2020. What this means is that if, due to Covid-19, your previously approved project could not/would not be completed by the 31st March, we will be allowed to process these claims. It also means that if you or other firms in your networks are in a position to invest in their business, we are keen to see how we could support with funding to help make this a viable proposal.
With face-to-face meetings, workshops and events postponed until the summer, we’re working on ways we can continue to support you virtually during this time – watch this space over the coming weeks for information on webinars and remote delivery of support services.
Both Inn2Power and Upcycle Your Waste projects are also still fully operational so take a look at these pages for further details.
