Chris Seamark

Sustainable Business Programme Manager

Chris has been with KCC since 2014 joining the Low Carbon Kent team as a Project Manager before taking on the role of leading the team as Programme Manager shortly after. Prior to this he had worked on numerous business support projects across the country for a variety of public sector organisations and Housing Associations. He has also previously served as a Non-Commissioned Officer in the Rifles, which is an infantry battalion in HM Armed Forces.

Outside of work he enjoys supporting West Ham as a season ticket holder, playing football and has just started to take classes in Karate with his son. He is also involved locally in a charitable organisation within the leisure industry as the Chair of the Board of Trustees.

Rob Robinson

Sustainable Business Project Manager

Rob has been with KCC since 2016 but has worked on EU Resource Efficiency projects for the past 10 years. Originally graduating in Biomedical Science he was in Pharmaceuticals for 5 years before moving into building energy surveys and helping first embed sustainability into their operations and business plans!

Outside of work Rob attempts to balance a manic family life with the odd round of golf and game of football here and there.

Katie Jones

Sustainable Business Projects Officer

Katie is the Sustainable Business Project Officer. Her role involves working with businesses to help them claim their grant money and helping with any queries.

In her spare time, Katie practices pole fitness, tries to grow things in her garden and likes to read. She lives with two newts, two cats, an axolotl and 47 baby axolotls and can sometimes be found at events in Medway and France performing a pole routine or the cancan.

Sam Thomas

Sustainable Business Project Support Officer

Sam has worked at KCC since January 2017 but has been in the Project Support Officer role since June 2018. His general role in the team is to provide administrative support to the team and also liaise with partners with the progress of SMEs who have received LoCASE funding. He also works on Inn2POWER, a separate EU project which improves access to the offshore wind industry for SMEs by connecting offshore wind businesses in the North Sea Region.

Away from work, Sam has had a season ticket at West Ham United for over 10 years, and he also enjoys playing for Frindsbury Cricket Club in the summer months.
