LoCASE Recruiting Additional Members of Staff

 

Further to the successful approval of the Low Carbon Across the South & East (LoCASE) Project I am pleased to inform you that Kent County Council will be recruiting a number of staff to work on this project. We’re looking for people with an enthusiastic interest in business engagement to join the Sustainable Business Team in an exciting opportunity to work on supporting businesses increase their environmental sustainability. There is scope to work remotely, local to the different LEP areas, so we would encourage candidates from outside of Kent to apply for these roles. This is an ambitious project and Kent County Council wishes to reflect that in our novel approach to recruitment for this project to ensure a local footprint in each of the regions this project will be delivered in. The world has changed, and with it comes the creation of new opportunities!

We are looking for highly motivated individuals with a strong background in successful project delivery to undertake these roles and engage with businesses to ensure outputs, KPIs and targets are met. Candidates will have strong organisation and administrative skills, will need to be excellent communicators with a good understanding of customer care, and excellent computer skills.

There are 6 roles available in total which will be responsible for day-today delivery and operation of the LoCASE 3 project, including grant administration, business engagement and output monitoring ultimately enabling KCC to act as the Lead Partner for this unique multi-LEP project.
